I have a question for you; what drink is insanely inexpensive to make, keeps your skin glowing, aids in digestion and detoxification, can help you lose unwanted belly fat, and is packed with vitamins and nutrients? No, it’s not that elixir sold on late-night TV, it’s my belly fat detox drink! I teach around 20-21 detox methods in VIP, but number 13 is one of my favorites because it’s super simple and super effective detox drink recipe. I start with about 4-6 ounces of water—you can add 8 ounces to dilute it and make it a taste a little better, if you’d like. Then, you add the most important ingredient: 2 tablespoons of Bragg’s Organic, Raw, and Unfiltered Apple Cider Vinegar with the Mother. This is the best brand on the market but you HAVE to be sure you buy the apple cider vinegar that comes “with the mother”—this is a group of beneficial bacteria and acids that remains in the vinegar and creates that murky, cloudy look. If it looks like apple juice, it probably is, and that’s not what we’re looking for. *A common question I get is if it is okay to use white vinegar as a substitute. Unfortunately, white vinegar does not have the same detoxifying qualities; so make sure you stick to the brown stuff.
Now, one of my biggest hacks on how to lose weight fast is adding about 2 dashes of cayenne pepper to the mix. This little red spice has so many positive effects on your digestive system all the way from preventing blood clots and relieving joint and nerve pain, to boosting your metabolism and providing detox support! The last ingredient we add is a dash of lemon. Fresh lemon is very good at cleansing and detoxifying the body—it provides vitamin C and cleans out your entire digestive tract very nicely. Mix all of these ingredients together and BAM! You’ve got yourself a quick, inexpensive detox drink.
Let me give you another little tip, because some of you all out there struggle with the bitterness of the taste. If you simply add a swig of raw apple juice with no sugar added, this will cut the taste drastically and make it more palatable. Personally, I try to avoid including the juice because that’s just adding natural sugar—and too much sugar is going to counter the good effects of the drink. This apple cider vinegar detox drink isn’t the best tasting thing, but sometimes when you’re trying to do something good for your body, it doesn’t always have to taste good. It just has to work, and this works. You feel me?
Some people even do this 2-3 times a day right before a meal because it does a great job of reducing inflammation, boosting energy, getting rid of stubborn, unwanted belly fat, slimming the waistline, supporting digestion and overall weight loss, and reducing bloating, fatigue, and hormonal imbalance.
Don’t get it twisted; It’s NEVER too late to get your sexy back! Until next time…
